Sara has spent her entire career working within and providing consulting services for nonprofit organizations. She has extensive experience providing leadership development trainings and capacity building services to nonprofits, faith-based organizations and corporations. Sara is nationally known for her expertise in the field of human services, faith-based Initiatives, diversity and disability inclusion, homeless housing services and full range of social service topics. Other training topics in her repertoire include: Women in leadership, That Dirty Word Obesity, Reclaiming Your Identity, Teen Motherhood, Grant Writing, Colorful Women Leading, Fundraising and Special event planning. Sara is also an outspoken advocate willing to embrace the challenge of leading difficult discussions around lack of diversity and structural racism within agencies and corporations. Sara is also a strong advocate for social and health issues abroad, particularly in Malawi, the country where her father John P. Chipembere was born and died in 2016.
In addition to her consulting business, Sara enjoys her job serving as a Vice President for a nonprofit organization in Rochester, NY. She enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending time with family. Sara has a BS in Social Work and MS in Human Service Administration as well as numerous trainings and certifications. Sara loves to motivate others and will tailor topics for just about any audience and believes that “professional, personal and spiritual development is a lifelong process with no ending point”.
